'''Trick and Treat!''' is a special spell that appears exclusively in {{DQTact}} and is [[Halloween Veronica|Halloween Veronica's]] [[Coup de Grâce]]. When cast, she uses her Mischief Broom to sketch out a massive jack o' lantern out of thin air. She then sends it bouncing high above her enemies as it bursts out smaller explosive Jack-o'-lanterns filled with candy that makes them suffer all sorts of [[Status ailment|status ailments]].

Trick and Treat! can be learned by [[Veronica (Dragon Quest XI)|Halloween Veronica]] at level 82 and costs 199 MP to use. It inflicts major spell damage to all enemies in a range of five squares in front of her with a very rare chance of inflicting them with either sleep, stunning, paralysis, charming, confusion, blinding, poison, cursing, or binding and also inflicts them with Physical Lock, Spell Lock, Breath Lock, and Martial Lock. Since it is a Coup de Grâce, it takes 3 turns to charge and can only be used once per battle. Upgrading the ability increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
