Ultra Death Defier raises the possessing monster's resistance to instant death by 50%, stacking with any natural resistance. This lowers the odds of becoming slain on the spot, whether it be through the [[Whack]] family of spells or as the bonus effect of another ability. In the latter case only the chances of being snuffed out are lowered, not the accuracy or power of the attack itself. Ultra Death Defier stacks with the effect of [[Death Defier]] for a 60% resistance, but this boon can be voided if the enemy has the [[Ultra Crafty Whacker]] trait.

Ultra Death Defier is available through the [[Chiaroscuro Shield]], [[Death Defier]], [[Doomsayer]], [[Hater]], and [[Holy Warder]] talents.
