When used, the war drum doubles '''all''' active {{Party 5}} member's {{Attack}} power for no {{MP}}, making the spell [[Oomph]] (which doubles only one ally's attack for {{MP}}) obsolete.  
It can only be gotten [[Estark's Labyrinth|after the game is beaten]], so it's understandable that such an overpowered item would have gotten to the point where it would be literally useless if it weren't for the superboss, [[Estark]] in [[Nadiria]].

Additionally [[soulspawn]] and [[deathsquad]] will sometimes use them, though they aren't obtainable from either {{MFamilies}}.

The war drum is dropped by [[Nimclops]] in the Hall of Remembrance-Level 2 and it increases the attack of all {{Party 11}} members by 25% for 4 turns, acting as a full-party [[oomphle|oomph]].
