Hammibal's main weakness lies in his inability to cast [[Disruptive Wave]], a spell usable by nearly every other high-level boss in the game. It is also noteworthy that, unlike the similar [[Goreham-Hogg]], Hammibal cannot score a critical hit, severely reducing the danger he poses.
Best way to beat him: Kabuff will save you the damage he can put out as he has a pretty good damage out put, morale masher will come in handy if you are faster then him to kill his tension boosts, getting hit by his AoE while he has 50 tension is generally bad... to really get to jump on that confusion there is a ring ( ring of clarity ) that fighs confusion, it is a good idea to get this and then forbearance with a buffed paladin or warrior to really rain on his parade. ( confused party members still attack at full power on friends, so you can easily kill any party member with the amount damage you will be doing. )

Hammibal's main weakness lies in his inability to cast Disruptive Wave, a spell usable by nearly every other high-level boss in the game. This allows the party to utilize the full benefits of stat-boosting spells without fear of having the effects removed by the boss. It is also noteworthy that, unlike the similar Goreham-Hogg, Hammibal cannot score a critical hit, severely reducing the danger he poses.

Etymology[edit | edit source]

"Hammibal" is a pun on "ham" and "Hannibal" (a name associated with, among others, a character in the A-Team TV series and a Carthaginian general).
