The King of Darkness, titled The Fallen Hero, is a minor boss from Dragon Quest Builders.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The King of Darkness is the foolish hero who fell for Dragonlord's trap. He has gone mad, claiming to be the king of all of Alefgard and attacking the Builder for trespassing his property. He cannot be defeated, he flees from battle as soon as he realizes he will lose.

The fallen hero looks like the most famous thief in the series, but with a more elaborate garb: He wears red underwear, a red hood with white and gold details, a pendant, a crown, and blue gloves and boots. He uses Erdrick's Sword and Shield, since he obtained them before abandoning his quest to defeat the Dragonlord.

In battle, he can perform regular attacks, charged circular attacks or call for allies.

The tower where he resides is called "Half of the World", referencing what the Dragonlord promises in his offer.
