Bagley is a minor character and boss that appears in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Bagley is a human bandit and the fifth of the would-be champions fighting in the Allblades Arena in hopes of regaining his freedom from the monsters in control. Outside of battle, he has the appearance of a toughie, one of the musclebound thugs wearing bull masks seen in many games throughout the series. In battle, he has the appearance of a Bag snatcher, a sneaky humanoid with jaundiced yellow skin, pointed ears, and a large pair of lips. He wears a ragged red-orange robe over grey clothes, a blue pair of boots, and a blue horned mask that covers his entire face. Over his left shoulder, Bagley carries a sack of stolen goods, which he uses to bludgeon his opponents with and stashes various odds and ends to hurl, as well. In the Nintendo 3DS version, he now has chalk-white skin with purple lips, a black robe over purple clothes, red boots, and a red mask. Bagley is most likely to act first in battle due to his speed and he is able to inflict various status effects to hamper his enemies. His team consists of three Tongue fu masters.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit | edit source]
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Bagley and his team are overall less difficult to deal with than the previous team, but can still be nuisances since they can inflict various status effects. Once again, his monsters should be taken care of first before they get a chance to use their Tongue Bashing on the party. They can be put to sleep easily with a Snooze stick, while boomerang attacks, Ruff's wolf skills, and Bang will make quick work of them. Maribel's Dazzle works well against Bagley, drastically reducing his offensive ability.
Dragon Quest Rivals[edit | edit source]
Bagley appeared in the first true card pack's expansion after the game's name changed to Rivals Ace as a super rare card exclusive for Thief leaders.
