Once mastered, the principles of Air Slash can be combined with [[Earthsplitter|Earth Slash]] and [[Seasplitter|Wave Slash]] to perform the school's ultimate technique, [[Avan Strash]].

Avan developed counterparts of this technique for other weapons as well, though the only one shown in the series is the spear-based [[Air Strike]].
