The '''Mad moai''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{Dragon Quest VII}}. It is a [[Material family|material monster]] resembling a large, floating head similar to those of the species namesake, the [[Wikipedia:Moai|Moai]] of Easter Island.
