The Cavorting column is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII. It is a purple stone column that has become animated by magic.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Powerful purple pillars that perpetually dance and weave their way through battle, burning other battlers with their fire flinging limbs and bolstering defenses by casting Kabuff magic.
