The Crested viper is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV.

It looks like an average snake but with four large red protrusions originating from its head giving the monster its name.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Sly slithering serpents that scare would be attackers with their awesome red crest, sliding up to bite while they're distracted.
