==Synopsis==

The Plumbed Depths is where [[Grand Lizzier|Drak]] runs to with [[List of characters in Dragon Quest IX#Queen Voluptua|Queen Voluptua]] after transforming into a huge {{MFamilies}}. The {{Hero 9}} follows and meets with [[King Aqueus]], Voluptua's father. He asks the {{Hero 9}} to save his daughter. The {{Hero 9}} proceeds to confront Drak and defeat him. This frees the queen and allows the {{Hero 9}} to collect yet another [[Fygg]].
