The '''dark slime knight''', formerly known as '''DarkKnight''' or '''Dark Knight''', is a monster that was introduced in {{DQMCH}}, it is a corrupted version of the [[Slime knight]].

Whereas the knight in the [[Slime knight]] duo rides a [[Slime]], the knight in the Dark slime knight duo rides a [[Dark slime (Dragon Quest Monsters)|Dark slime]]. The Dark slime knight wields a crude hatchet-like weapon and has a red shield with a slime emblazoned upon it. Originally, it did not have a [[shield]].

The Dark Knight is a four-star member of the [[Slime family]] with a weight of 4. Its in-game description reads "Like the slime knight, nobody knows the identity of the rider."
