It is a blue [[Chewlip]] that eschews [[Sweet Breath|sleep breath]] for spewing [[Poison Breath|foul poisons]] instead. The weed is so toxic that even its normal attacks have a chance to envenom adventurers. Its name is a pun on the flower ''nasturtium'' and the English verb "gnash".

The Gnashturtium is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in Dragon Quest II.

Gnashturtium appeared in the 7th card pack, "Strange Tale of Light and Darkness" as a super rare exclusive for Demon Swordsmen leaders. If the leader summoned gnashturtium with a Demon Lord card in their hand, it would inflict poison on all enemy units.
