The cave's interior is more ruinous than in past depictions and there is a [[List of recruitable monsters in Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake|accomodating armful]] skulking about. The quality of the treasures is much higher than in earlier versions, making the optional dungeon worth exploring. In the ending sequence [[Robbin' 'Ood]] and his henchmen are shown exploring the Craggy Cave.
