The Black dragon is a dangerous monster that utilizes nearly every part of its body as a weapon. It can bite down on enemies with their razor-sharp fangs, swipe at multiple foes with their long and powerful tails, and it can breathe out intense flames, as well of those of pure darkness while casting magic, though only in {{X}}. In some spinoff games, they are also capable of breathing out flames of pure darkness or exhaling intense blasts of wind, as well. Their scales make them impervious to many forms of attack. In most cases, they are not as powerful as their golden-scaled cousins, with the ''Monsters {{Joker}} series of games being a notable exception.
