*In the story scenes for "Lifelong-Performer Silver Cape", it introduces itself to [[Mindini]] and [[Majellan]] as SilvrCape. This is a reference to the text restrictions that existed in earlier localized games, which meant that monsters and item names had to be shortened in order to fit 9 letters. Ironically, the Silver cape itself is a relatively new {{MFamilies}} in the series, having been around since ''Dragon Quest X'''s first release on August 2nd, 2012.
