The snapdragon is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VIII. It is a powerful dragon brought to life from cursed rose vines.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Snapdragons are dragons made from bushes of withered thorny vines, its head being green with deep red eyes. They are the most powerful monsters of their kind, using their thorn-covered vines to ensnare unlucky adventurers and then incinerate them with their powerful fire magic. Despite their high HP, the thorny dragons themselves are vulnerable to attack magic as well.
