| '''Taloon''' (or '''Torneko''' as he is known in [[Torneko: The Last Hope]] and the [[Nintendo DS]] remake, or '''Torneko Taloon''' as he is called in ''[[Dragon Quest VIII]]'') is a character from ''[[Dragon Warrior IV]]''. He has a wife and son who live in [[Lakanaba]] with him but later move with him to [[Endor]]. Taloon has always dreamed of opening up his own shop and eventually sets out on an adventure to do just that. He first appears as the protagonist of Chapter 3. Later, he appears in Chapter 5 and joins the [[Hero (Dragon Warrior IV|hero]]'s party. He also stars in his own spinoff games in the Mystery Dungeon series.
