Etymology[edit | edit source]
The Crazed Colossus's name is a reference to the Colossus of Rhodes, a giant statue of the Greek sun god Helios erected on the island of Rhodes in the ancient world.Talos takes his name from the bronze giant of Crete, constructed by Hephaestus to protect queen Europa.
- In the original Japanese version, Talos's name Apollon is a reference to Apollo, the Greek god of the sun.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
Talos is the only infamous monster whose stats never change, perhaps owing to being chiseled out of stone.
