*The Terrornodon has the distinction of only appearing in remake versions of {{Dragon Quest IV}}. It has a sprite and stats in the original {{Famicom}} version of the game, but it cannot actually be encountered anywhere. The Terrornodon is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen.

It is a purple-skinned Pterosaur capable of casting instant death spells.
