The War nut is a monster in the Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest VII.

War nuts are nearly identical to Battle pips, being diminutive faerie-like fighters wearing simple breastplates, leaf loincloths, and spiked acorn helmets that cover their eyes. They wield a squeaky toy hammer instead of the battle axes wielded by the battle pip. They spend half their time in battle completely missing their attacks just like the other pips.
