The Bamboozler is a new monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest X.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
An Bamboozler is a mechanical type of monster. They are little and are covered in beige and red armour. Their heads are the core of the machine, protected by a grey helm with a white ventilation grill where there should be a face. These monsters wear a cone-shaped hat (probably made of bamboo), also beige and red, that resembles the ones rice farmers in Japan wore in the past. At their back they have equipped a bamboo pennant, which is taller than them, that is decorated with a red and yellow stripe pattern. Bamboozlers also wield brown bamboo spears.
