Betterflies are large, unusual [[Bug family|moth]]s with a teal, cartoonish dog-like face at the center of their bodies, their maws filled with sharp fangs that they use to bite with. Their wings are dark green with orange spots. The Betterfly is a monster in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Betterflies are large, unusual moths with a teal, cartoonish dog-like face at the center of their bodies, their maws filled with sharp fangs that they use to bite with. Their wings are dark green with orange spots. In remakes and Dragon Quest of the Stars, the betterflies have a completely different colour scheme, having purple wings, bright green heads, and pink lips. Like their lesser blue cousins, betterflies are able to envelop enemies in illusions by casting Dazzle, and then poison them with their venomous fangs.

This quest can be repeated as many times as desired.
