They wear blue wizard robes and wide-brimmed pointy hats that look almost too big for their bodies. The Blinkster is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest IV. It is a juvenile one-eyed monster that is a prodigy mage.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Blinksters are young, one-eyed demon magicians with green skin that levitate in midair. They wear blue wizard robes and wide-brimmed pointy hats that look almost too big for their bodies. They carry wands topped with a blue crystal orb in their left hands, which they use to cast rudimentary ice magic. Much like their orange-skinned cousins, the blinksters typically lack the reserves of magical power to continuously cast their spells in battle.
