Located south of the [[Hometown|village the hero is from]], it is accessible for the first time when you control the hero in chapter 5 and it is likely the first town you will run into as the hero. The king here meets heroes who venture to defeat evil and wishes them well. When you first come here you will meet a party that says they cannot let you join because they have too many members. You see the same party in a different place later on in the game. In Branca there is also a fairy tale about a celestial maiden who came down from the sky and fell in love with a woodsman and then had a baby but no one knows what happened to the baby.
