The candy cane is a scythe introduced in the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII. It is a joke weapon that inflicts exactly one point of damage in battle.
Details[edit | edit source]
The candy cane has an attack bonus of +1 and can only be equipped by Yangus. It was obtainable as free downloadable content for international players from February 9 - February 22, 2017. Due to its unique ability to inflict only one point of damage, it is ideal to equip when attempting to steal items with Steal Sickle and Stainless Steal Sickle.
