The Cobra kaiser is a monster in the series.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Cobra kaisers are large cobras with garishly-coloured purple, pink, and teal scales that have yellow eyes. They are able to poison adventurers with their deadly fangs, but are just as likely to flee at the first sign of danger, as well. Their original namesake is the basilisk of European bestiaries, a legendary reptile said to be able to cause death to any that looked into its eyes. Its English name is a play on the fictional Cobra Kai dojo from The Karate Kid series of martial arts films.
