Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Killer waves are anthropomorphic waves made of dark purplish-blue water with a grim visage. They attack by calling forth waves of rushing water against seafaring adventurers. According to their description in Monsters: Joker 3, they appear near the mouths of estuaries in an attempt to drown anglers. Its English name refers to rogue waves, also known as killer waves, which are large and unpredictable waves that are dangerous to ships and structures such as lighthouses.
