The Axesaurus is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VI. It is a stronger variant of the Hacksaurus with wine-red scales.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Red raging reptiles that run rampant with Hatchet Man, allowing them to hack away and deal desperate damage with their axes. They also bathe the battlefield in fire with their Flame Breath to sear their opponents. It has made less appearances in the series than its green-scaled cousins.

Dragon Quest X [edit | edit source]
Making its only other appearance in the main series, the axesaurus began appearing starting from Version 2.0 in the Gran Zedora region. It can attack using Inferno, Helm Splitter, and Hatchet Man.
