Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line[edit | edit source]

GameDescription
Unlocks various waterway workings.[1]

The key can be acquired by finding Rogue Fastfinger in the village of Burrowell. Fastfinger is hiding in a secret passage within his prison cell. By probing the back of the cell, the secret entrance can be found. The thief gives up the key when talked to by the Luminaries.

The floodgate key has only 1 specific usage. It is used in Slewse to open the water gate located in the northwest corner of town. Opening the gate causes the river to flood, providing access by Ship to the Tower of the Moon.
