The Cheeky devil is a monster that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VII. It can be found in the World's Tallest Tower in the Wetlock region and the Providence region in the past.
Characteristics[edit | edit source]
Yipping yellow winged demons that are more helpful than they appear at first fright, loving to cast Heal on their fellow monsters in the middle of a fight. As well as being able to buzz enemies with attacks from their antennae, they can also cast the potent Bang spell that blasts all adventurers in a single burst.

Etymology[edit | edit source]
The cheeky devil's original Japanese name, Amanojaku, is a type of demon or oni-like creature from Japanese mythology that are known to cause mischief or perform evil deeds.
