The '''Choppy hopper''' is a monster that appears exclusively in ''[[Dragon Quest VII]]''. It can be found in the [[Emberdale]] region in the past, [[Burnmont]] in both the past and present, the [[L'Arca]] region in the past, and [[Grotta del Sigillo]] in both the past and present.

The choppy hopper is a green bipedal monstrous [[Beast family|marsupial]] with a purple peculiar underside and a pair of long black horns on the top of its head. It wickedly wields a sharp slicing scimitar in each hand and oddly alternates between hurriedly hopping on each foot every single second in battle. Using its powerful hind legs, it can launch a deadly lunging '''leaping slash'''  attack on unsuspecting adventurers, dealing extra damage.
