Confusion Attack is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It launches a melee attack that may confuse a target, making it similar to Fuddle.

Confusion Attack makes its debut as an enemy-only attack that can be used by fuddleguanas, guaardvarks, and poison eveels.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit | edit source]
Confusion Attack can be used by compos mantis, hexicons, black books, Bagley, and by Orgodemir himself in his third form during the final battle. The confusion lasts between 6 to 9 turns unless it is removed.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit | edit source]
Confusion Attack can be used exclusively by poison eveels in this game.
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies[edit | edit source]
Confusion Attack can be used by stale whales, zumeanies, and Orgodemir when faced as a legacy boss.
