Firn fiend appears as a B-rank monster of the Inorganic family as part of the limited True Dragon Quest III event. It can be scouted from the West Tantegel Sea stage of Searching for a Legend at any difficulty. The firn fiend can participate in Robbin' 'Ood and the Old flame's Battle Roads as a party member. The monster went by its old name Iceman when it was introduced, but it was changed to Firn fiend in a June 2023 update.
