The Fur cape is a recurring piece of clothing in the Dragon Quest series, introduced in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.
It is typically a mid-level piece of clothing designed for spellcasters.
Some fans think that this armor was meant to be a replacement for the Fur coat from Dragon Quest IV, and that the Leather cape introduced in Dragon Quest VIII was meant to replace the fur cape. The Fur cape has a Defense bonus of +18 and can be purchased for 550 gold coins. It can be equipped by Bianca Whitaker, Nera Briscoletti, and Madchen.

The Fur cape has a Defence bonus of +18 and a Style bonus of +18. It can also be purchased for 550 gold coins.
