==Characteristics==
Godsteeds are [[Beast family|equine]] monsters based on the Kirin (麒麟) of Japanese mythology, a fabled horse with the head and scales of a dragon. Most of its body is ivory-coloured, with a white tail and white tufts of hair on its legs. It has a brown underside, a pink mane, and solid red eyes. It floats in midair and its hooves are surrounded by a golden aura. In battle, it has various attacks at its disposal such as emitting clouds of blinding light, sending opponents to sleep with its hypnotic gaze, and casting powerful wind magic. The monster's name is a play on the word "godspeed".

The Godsteed is a monster in the series.

Godsteeds are equine monsters based on the Kirin (麒麟) of Japanese mythology, a fabled horse with the head and scales of a dragon.
