The '''Great troll''' is a recurring monster in the {{DQSeries}}, first appearing in {{DQ3}}.

These purple-skinned troll monarchs are among the strongest monsters in a Demon Lord's armies.

These purple, [[Demon family|porcine]] powerhouses fail to bring anything new to the table, but they boast bolstered bulk compared to their predecessors and are all too happy to show it off in battle. Its position as the strongest of the trolls was eventually usurped by the [[Terror troll]], though it also finds itself in battle with the [[Stout troll|Stout]]s of [[Mortamor]]'s army over who's the top troll in troll society.
