El Forado home not only to the {{Elves}} but also talking foxes. It is a short distance to the east of [[Mintos]], surrounded by impassable mountains and only accessible with the [[balloon]].

The {{Elves}} will tell the {{Party 4}} that they can hear someone crying among the branches of Yggdrasil, which is the player's hint of [[Orifiela]]'s presence. In {{DQ4 Chapter 6}}, the {{Elves}} will also explain the nature of the [[Yggdrasil flower]] that can revive even those long dead, setting the Chosen on a rescue mission to resurrect [[Rose]] and stop [[Aamon|the true evil]].
