| The ''Locket of Love'' (LuvMemory) is a key item in [[Dragon Quest III]]. It is required to access the [[Shrine Jail]] in order to retrieve the [[Sword of Gaia]]. The locket is held in a treasure chest aboard the [[Phantom Ship]]. Retrieving it is part of the subquest to receive the [[Silver Orb]].

| The locket belongs to [[Olivia]] who gave it to her lover [[Eric]] before he was sent on a sea voyage. Eric's death on the voyage resulted in Olivia killing herself on the heights of what is referred to as Olivia Cape. A curse remains on the strait near Olivia Cape leading to the Shrine Jail. The curse can only be counteracted by using the locket near the strait.
