The Jawtoise is a monster that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past.

It can be found in the Sunken Citadel in the past and Coral Cave in the past and present. The Jawtoise has a rare chance of dropping a Jawtoise Heart, allowing one party member to become a Jawtoise when it is taken to Alltrades Abbey.
