Killer waves are anthropomorphic waves made of dark purplish-blue water with a grim visage. They attack by calling forth waves of rushing water against seafaring adventurers. According to their description in Monsters: Joker 3, they appear near the mouths of estuaries in an attempt to drown anglers.
