The Royal Crypt is a dungeon in Dragon Quest IV. It is located southwest of Endor. It contains the Mod Rod, which is necessary to infiltrate Diabolic Hall. In order to enter the crypt, the Hero must possess the Ultimate Key.
This place is also notable for being the home of Liquid metal slimes.
