The scale armour is a recurring set of armor in the Dragon Quest franchise. It is a low-level piece of equipment that is made from scales.

The scale armour has a defence bonus of +15 and a style bonus of +9. It can be equipped by the Hero, Kiefer, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. It can be purchased from Emberdale in the present, L'Arca in the past, and Frobisher for 450 gold and sold for 225 gold.
Dragon Quest VIII
