The seas of Erdrea are a collective region in Dragon Quest XI. As with most oceans in the Dragon Quest series, they require a ship to explore; and random encounters are possible.

As they are more expansive than previous oceans in the series, the seas of Erdrea are divided into discrete zones. However, the bestiary is shared across zones and resets according to the storyline arc in which the player is situated.

Zones

Vortices of light

Mermaids have placed vortices of light at certain locations throughout the region, which can transport the Salty Stallion through undersea tunnels when Lorelei's harp is played.
