Slime stacks are a type of slime that was introduced in Dragon Quest IX. Most commonly, you encounter them by finding three regular slimes, which then merge into a slime stack if none of them are
defeated beforehand.
Description
From top to bottom, the three individual slimes in a Slime stack are green, red, and blue, all three of them resembling most slimes with the wide eyes and toothless grins. Slime stacks are much stronger and have more HP than regular slimes, but a strong party can take them down easily.

You'd think three slimes would be better than one, but there's more bickering than battling with these touchy towers.
