Softwort (also called rose-wort) is a healing item in the Dragon Quest series and introduced in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.

Aside from removing paralysis, it usually restores 60 HP or more to a single party member.

In Dragon Quest IX, Softworts can be bought in Bloomingdale for 96 gold coins and sold for 47 gold coins. They are also rare drops from Man o' wars, Bud brothers and Bagmas. Also can be created using the alchemy recipe of 1 Strong medicine and 1 Moonwort bulb.
