Alefgard is both a land and a kingdom featured prominently in the first three games of the Dragon Quest series: Dragon Warrior, Dragon Warrior II, and Dragon Warrior III. Alefgard is also found in Dragon Quest Monsters: Caravan Heart, Itadaki Street Special, and Itadaki Street DS.
