Taloon (or Torneko as he is known in Torneko: The Last Hope and the Nintendo DS remake, or Torneko Taloon as he is called in Dragon Quest VIII) is a character from Dragon Warrior IV. He has a wife and son who live in Lakanaba with him but later move with him to Endor. Taloon has always dreamed of opening up his own shop and eventually sets out on an adventure to do just that. He first appears as the protagonist of Chapter 3. Later, he appears in Chapter 5 and joins the hero's party. He also stars in his own spinoff games in the Mystery Dungeon series.
