Tentaculars are enormous [[Aquatic family|squids]] that have light orange bodies with purple tinges on their head and mantle, as well as the suckers on their many tentacles. They are among the most dangerous monster that can be encountered out at sea, being capable of attacking up to three times in a single turn in their original appearance.
The tentaculars faced in ''XI'' have grown to truly enormous proportions, matching those of their cousin [[Khalamari]], and are aided in battle by their left and right tentacles, which will attack individually and protect its main body. They are powerful enough to fling around ships with ease and unleash devastating attacks with their tentacles that can knock seafarers on their feet. The molluscs can now also breathe out both ice-cold breath and sweet breath as part of their offensive capabilities.
