The Terrorflyer (originally Tyranobat; Rayburn in the GBC translations) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest IV, it is a winged, two-legged dragon.
Characteristics
Terrorflyers are reminiscent of pterosaurs, having long crests and the absence of forelimbs, but are made more dragon-like through their bulkier bodies and large jaws. They are a yellowish orange color, though they were originally gray in their first appearance.
